The National Police Chief Predicts That The Peak Flow Of Lebaran 2025 Homecoming Will Last 3 Days Until The Ketupat 2 Version Operation

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo predicts that the peak of the 2025 Eid homecoming flow or Eid Al-Fitr 1446 Hijri will last for three days.

The prediction was conveyed after holding the Ketupat Operations 2025 Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting which took place at the Mutiara STIK Auditorium, South Jakarta.

"The flow of homecoming is between March 28 and 30," Sigit told reporters, Monday, March 10.

As for the backflow, it is predicted that it will run from April 5 to 7. Therefore, in order to anticipate traffic congestion or congestion, the National Police will hold Operation Ketupat 2025

However, this time there is something different. This is because the Ketupat Operation was carried out with two versions that were adjusted to the location of the implementation.

"We are implementing a ketupat operation plan which is divided into two versions," he said.

The difference is at the time of implementation. For the Lampung to Bali areas, Operation Ketupat 2025 will be held longer than in other areas.

Then, the difference is also at the start of the 2025 Ketupat Operation. The Lampung to Bali areas will carry out from March 23 while the others will start March 26, 2025.

"For operations in the region from Lampung to Bali, it will be carried out for 17 days, while for 28 other regional police will be carried out for 14 days," said Sigit.

As previously reported, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar said the month of Ramadan would last for 30 days. Thus, Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri is predicted to fall on March 31, 2025.

"The holy month of Ramadan will be 30 days, meaning that our Eid is predicted to be on Monday 31. March 31, 2025," said Nasaruddin.

This prediction is of course based on the results of the monitoring of the hilal that has been carried out. However, the government will determine for certainty through an isbat trial.
