Acting Governor Of Bali Asks To Follow Up On The Use Of Dewa Siwa Background In Atlas

Head of the Bali Tourism Office (Dispar) Tjok Bagus Pemayun said the Acting Governor of Bali Sang Made Mahendra Jaya instructed to follow up on the actions of nightclubs that used the background of Dewa Siwa during the disc jockey (DJ) performance.

"We received a warning from the leadership to follow up, from the Governor of PJ to check yesterday, we have communicated but there have been no communication results," said Pemayun, Tuesday, February 4.

Tjok Pemayun said, after circulating a video of Dewa Siwa's visual background in the midst of a crowd of visitors to the Atlas Super Club nightclub dancing under the sparkling lights, the Acting Governor of Bali immediately discussed this via group message.

Dispar Bali and Satpol PP Bali were then asked to collect data and immediately call the manager.

The Bali Provincial Government is concerned that the actions of tourism industry entrepreneurs have repeated their actions that tarnish Hinduism after previously the incident of a magnificent fireworks performance by FINNS on the beach which disrupted Hindu ceremonies.

"I'm concerned that this incident will happen again because previously there were some that we reminded, this is a lesson for fellow entrepreneurs to be careful in making innovations in Bali because it is a symbol of our Hindu religion, which is a reminder of all of us," said Tjok Pemayun.

According to him, Atlas Super Club should have learned from the FINNS incident, because they have the potential to receive a similar reprimand and severely destroy their own business.

Dispar Bali reminded tourism industry entrepreneurs to follow regulations and adhere to the concept of cultural tourism, not actually injure these values.

He believes that entrepreneurs who do good things will receive full support from the Balinese people, while if they are violated, the sanctions will work.

In the case of using Dewa Siwa's visual background, the tourism office will find out the purpose of using the holy symbol to determine the level of error of the entrepreneur.
