JAKARTA - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono emphasized the importance of an adaptive United Nations Peace Maintenance Mission (MPP PBB) to deal with the rapid development of today's world.
This was conveyed by Foreign Minister Sugiono when opening the United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial Preparatory Meeting at the TNI Peace Maintenance Mission Center, Sentul, Tuesday.
"Foreign Minister Sugiono emphasized the importance of discussing the future of a more adaptive peacekeeping mission in dealing with the rapidly developing situation on the ground. Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono also emphasized the importance of respecting the basic principles of the United Nations MPP," wrote the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement Tuesday, February 4.
