Polda Metro Jaya deployed 2,575 personnel to secure the 2026 World Cup qualifying match which brought together the Indonesian vs Bahrain national team at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Central Jakarta today, Tuesday, March 25.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the thousands of personnel were joint personnel.
In detail, 2,065 members of Polda Metro Jaya, 241 members of the Central Jakarta Metro Police and South Jakarta Metro Police, 269 personnel from the TNI and DKI Jakarta Regional Government as well as 703 stewards.
"There are 2,575 personnel involved," said Ade Ary in his statement.
Ade Ary added that his party will also prepare traffic engineering around GBK during the Indonesia vs Bahrain match. However, it is still situational.
He asked people who would carry out activities around GBK to look for other alternative roads.
