Rosan Signals Agrinas Can Disburse Capital From Danantara, Not PMN

JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/CEO Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani gave a signal that Agrinas might get capital disbursement from Danantara dividends considering that Agrinas will later become part of the Danantara.

"With this new Danantara structure, Agrinas will later become part of the Danantara. Maybe it's not from the Ministry of Finance, we'll see the dividends we receive from this BUMN," said Danantara CEO Rosan in response to reporters' questions about PMN for Agrinas at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 25.

Rosan continued, Danantara was asked by the government to harmonize various programs and activities, including those involving Agrinas, to comply with government priorities.

"So, we analyze and according to our criteria, in essence, we, Danantara as the parent of Agrinas, are asked to harmonize all activities so that they are in accordance with the vision and mission of job creators, and see it as a positive thing," continued Rosan.

He again emphasized that Danantara would still review and evaluate the financing issue, because the current focus includes strengthening the Agrinas structure.

"We will see and evaluate, the structure of Agrinas must be made stronger, yes. Later we will evaluate and coordinate with Agrinas," said the CEO of Danantara.

At the same location, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan said, Agrinas may not get funds disbursed from state capital participation (PMN).

"PMN doesn't exist, roughly that," said Zulhas, Zulkifli's nickname.

President Prabowo Subianto summoned a number of his ministers to the Palace for a limited meeting to discuss, including the issue of Agrinas. Agrinas is the transformation of three SOEs that are focused on working on food security, plantation and fishery projects.

The three transformed SOEs, namely Virama Karya, are PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara, Yodya Karya is PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, and Indra Karya is PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara.

The ministers who took part in the meeting included Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Investment/CEO Danantara Rosan P. Roeslani, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and there was also Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. In the same meeting, there was also the President Director of Perum Bulog Maj. Gen. TNI Novy Helmy Prasetya.
