Police Are Still Waiting For Labfor Results For The Glodok Plaza Fire Scene Process

JAKARTA - More than 2 weeks after the Glodok Plaza fire in Tamansari which eliminated 14 residents, the West Jakarta Metro Police have not carried out the crime scene (TKP) until now.

The West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit reasoned that it was still waiting for the results of the Forensic Laboratory to conduct a crime scene investigation.

"We are not waiting for the progress of the Labfor, because we are waiting for the results and so on, we will be summoned (Labfor) or discussing when we will carry out joint tkp processing," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Arfan Zulkan, Monday, February 2.

The West Jakarta Metro Police have also not been able to confirm or suspect the cause of the deadly fire that hit the Glodok Plaza building in Tamansari, West Jakarta.

"Temporary suspicion? We must not suspect. It must be certain based on the results of the investigation and Labfor," he said.

The West Jakarta Metro Police have also not been able to confirm and determine when the crime scene will be processed regarding the Glodok Plaza fire.

"The survey cannot be ascertained when, we are waiting for the results from the Forensic Laboratory," he said.

Meanwhile, in addition, Kasat said that access on one of the floors could be passed because it had been cleaned by a joint team.

"Access at the lounge, thank God, has opened up a bit, because the iron was cut by firefighters, bpbd and the police," he said.

Currently, the police have examined as many as 14 witnesses related to the Glodok Plaza fire.

It is known that the fire at Glodok Plaza occurred on Wednesday, January 15 at around 21.33 WIB. The officers finally succeeded in the cooling process on Thursday, January 16 evening, and the fire was completely extinguished on Friday, January 17 evening.
