JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) again today, July 20. The intensive action was carried out in the West Lombok area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"It's true (implementing OTT in West Lombok, ed)," said Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed by VOI, July 20.

Fitroh has not detailed the parties who were secured or their alleged corruption. However, he agreed that one of those who was taken by the team in the field was the Regent of West Lombok, Lalu Ahmad Zaini.

The KPK currently has 1x24 hours to conduct an examination.

The KPK previously held an OTT on July 9. At that time, the team secured Etik Suryani as the Regent of Sukoharjo.

Furthermore, Etik was named a suspect along with two other people, namely the Head of BPKAD Richard Trihandoko and the Head of the General Affairs Section of the Regional Secretariat, Tri Mulyo. He is suspected of receiving deposits of incentive and wage deductions from employees and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) totaling billions of rupiah which were used for personal gain.
