"In addition to casualties, landslides also caused five houses belonging to five heads of families to be heavily damaged due to being buried by landslides," said Abdul, Tuesday, January 14.
A joint team consisting of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Basarnas, TNI, Polri, Firefighters, Satpol PP, as well as volunteers and local village officials, immediately carried out search efforts.
"In the afternoon, the third victim was found, and there is still one resident who has not been found. The team also deployed heavy equipment in search and rescue efforts," said Abdul.
