Polda Metro Asked To Investigate 'Join Noop' Fraudulent Investment

Polda Metro Jaya was asked to immediately investigate the alleged fraud case of the 'Join Noop' fraudulent investment mode which made thousands of people victims.

The fraudulent investment case was known to have been reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Then, the handling was transferred to Polda Metro Jaya.

"Today, the victim's representative of PT Noop Mitra Bersama took action at the Polda Metro Jaya to inquire about the process of handling the report that had been reported at the National Police Headquarters last month, so far there has been no action from the police," said the victim's attorney, Nibezaro Zebua, to reporters, Monday, January 6.

The victims of the fraudulent investment held a demonstration in front of the Polda Metro Jaya. They shouted at a banner that read a request to the Polda Metro Jaya to immediately investigate the case and arrest the mastermind of his crime, namely, Teddy Martono as Director of PT Noop Mitra Bersama.

In addition, Polda Metro Jaya was also asked to examine several artists who also promoted Join Noop.

"We as attorneys hope that this report will be followed up and all the perpetrators and their gang will have several artists in the Puster, please arrest them," he said.

Nibezaro Zebua said that before holding the demonstration, his party had coordinated with the Special Criminal Directorate regarding the development of the case which caused 1,500 victims and lost around Rp. 80 billion.

According to him, from the reports received, there is no certainty in handling cases of fraudulent investment mode fraud.

"The report still has no certainty about the handling. So we hope that the report will be processed immediately so that there is attention to arrest, which is recruited by PT Noop Mitra Versama on behalf of Teddy Martono," said Nibezaro.

In addition, one of the victims, Inggrit said that PT Noop Mitra Bersama, which is engaged in the procurement of power banks, offers investment with high profits, reaching 30 percent. This is what makes many parties interested and hand over their money.

It's just that, from the promised period of time, not a penny has been received. In fact, Teddy Martono as the company director could not be found and disappeared without news.

"This company is engaged in leasing and selling power banks but it also opens up business opportunities to attract investors to work together so that investors are lured with a profit of at least 30 percent of the minimum paid-up capital," said Inggrit.
