Police Shooting Students At SMKN 4 Semarang Named As Suspects

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said that Aipda R, a member of the Semarang Polrestabes, a dead shooter, a student of SMKN 4 Semarang, GRO, was named a suspect.

"A case has been held and his status has been raised as a suspect," said Artanto as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 9.

The investigation into the case, he continued, is being carried out by the Directorate of General Crimes of the Central Java Police.

Meanwhile, Kompolnas member Muhammad Chairul Anam asked that the criminal process against Aipda R must be maintained.

He also appreciated the determination of Aipda R as a suspect in a criminal case for the death of GRO.

Previously, a class XI student at SMKN 4 Semarang City, with the initials GRO, was reported to have died allegedly from gunshot wounds to his body.

A resident of Kembangarum, Semarang City, was buried by his family in Sragen on Sunday (24/11) afternoon.

Meanwhile, Aipda R, who was suspected of carrying out the shooting, was sentenced to dishonorable discharge (PTDH) at the Police Code of Ethics Committee (KKEP) hearing.

Meanwhile, the GRO family itself also reported the alleged murder to the Central Java Regional Police.
