Pilkada 2024, Pramono Anung's Son Officially Appointed By KPU As Regent Of Kediri

KEDIRI Open plenary meeting of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Kediri Regency, East Java, officially appointed pair number 2, Hanindhito Himawan Pramana and Dewi Mariya Ulfa (Dhito-Dewi), as regents and deputy regents elected in the 2024 Pilkada.

The pair managed to excel by obtaining 489,900 votes or 56.53% of the total valid votes, defeating candidate pair number 1, Deny Widyanarko-Mudawamah.

"We have determined the pair number 2, Hanindhito Himawan Pramana and Dewi Mariya Ulfa, as regents and deputy regents of Kediri elected in the 2024 Pilkada," said KPU Chairman of Kediri Regency, Nanang Qosim, in a plenary meeting, Thursday (9/1).

Nanang said that this determination is the culmination of the democratic process which is safe, orderly, and peaceful. He also appreciated all parties who have supported the smooth running of the election.

"This determination is the beginning of a big responsibility that must be carried out by the elected pair to lead Kediri Regency in a better direction," he added.

Hanindhito Himawan Pramana, who is familiarly called Dhito, expressed his gratitude for the public's trust in returning to lead Kediri Regency. He called this victory a victory for all Kediri residents. This is a victory for all the people of Kediri. We are committed to leading with dedication and enthusiasm for the progress of this area," said Dhito.

Dhito also emphasized that he would immediately establish communication with his rivals in the 2024 Pilkada to jointly advance Kediri Regency. He appealed to the public to end differences of views during the Pilkada process and unite for regional progress.

"We focus on work. I invite all people to end differences of mind during the Pilkada. Let's build Kediri Regency together," he added.

Hanindhito Himawan Pramana, PDIP cadre and the son of the elected DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, managed to maintain his leadership in Kediri Regency.

The couple, Dewi Mariya Ulfa, is the Head of the Fatayat Nahdlatul Ulama in Kediri Regency. The two previously served as regents and deputy regents in the 2020-2024 period.
