KPU Jakarta Affirms Today Only Sets The Achievement Of Gubernatorial Elections

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata said the determination of the elected candidate for the Jakarta gubernatorial election will not be held today, Sunday, December 8. His party only read out the results of the final level recapitulation.

"Today is to determine the results for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor Election. It is not the determination of candidates for governor and deputy governor," Wahyu told reporters, Sunday, December 8.

Wahyu said that the determination of the elected candidate was not just carried out because he was waiting for the lawsuit on the results of the Jakarta gubernatorial election. The process lasted for three working days at the Constitutional Court (MK).

"Determination of a candidate for governor will wait for the existing process, such as whether there is a lawsuit or not in the Court," he said.

The determination of the results carried out will begin with a funeral. This process, continued Wahyu, is to ensure that what was ratified yesterday for the five regencies and cities the results are the same as those that will be determined at the provincial level recapitulation.

"Regarding who will be elected, of course, another process will be after what is the existing legal process. Whether there is a lawsuit or not in the Constitutional Court," he said.

The Jakarta KPU has completed the provincial level recapitulation on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Based on the recapitulation of the DKI Jakarta KPU, the Pramono-Rano Karno pair excels in all administrative cities.

In North Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 261,463 thousand votes and Paslon Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 77,026,000 votes. Meanwhile, the pair Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Bang Doel) 328,486 thousand votes.

In West Jakarta, the candidate pair Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 368,880 thousand votes, the pair Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 10,457 thousand votes, and Pason Pramono Anung-Rano Karno with 500,738 thousand votes.

In East Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 535,613 thousand votes, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 136,935 thousand votes and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno 635,170 thousand votes.

Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 375,391,000 votes and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 90,294,000 votes. Meanwhile, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno received 491,017 thousand votes.

In Central Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 152,235 thousand votes, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 44,865,000 votes, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno pair won 220,372 thousand votes.

Finally, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono received 6,578 thousand votes and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 653 thousand votes on Pulau Seribu. Meanwhile, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno received 7,456 thousand votes.
