Call Amnesty International's Report On Genocide In Gaza Salah, Israel: Defending Yourself

JAKARTA - Israel dismissed Amnesty International's report on Thursday accusing it of committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as "completely wrong".

"Amnesty International's sad and fanatical organization has once again made a false report that is completely wrong and based on lies," the Israeli Foreign Ministry said, quoted by The National News December 5.

On the other hand, the ministry said the attack carried out by the militant group led by Hamas on October 27, 2023 against Israel, which has never happened before, was genocide.

"Israel defends itself, acts fully in accordance with international law," the ministry said.

As previously reported, Amnesty International stated that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza since the start of the invasion on October 27, 2023.

The human rights organization (HAM) headquartered in London said its findings were based on inhumane statements and genocide by Israeli government and military officials. Including footage of satellite imagery documenting destruction, field work, and field reports from Gazans.

Amnesty said the 300-page report was an "excitation to build" for the international community, and urged countries to stop transferring weapons to Israel.
