Corruption In Procurement Of Computers And Laptops Of PT INTI Allegedly Loss Of The State Of Up To Rp100 Billion

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the alleged corruption in the procurement of computers and laptops of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) Persero cost the state hundreds of billions. This number is said to be increasing because the calculation is still being carried out by auditors.

"The alleged temporary state loss to the procurement is around Rp. 100 billion. This amount is a calculation during the investigation process," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Tuesday, October 28.

Tessa said the alleged corruption in PT INTI was investigated using a new investigation warrant (sprindik). This case is not related to the baggage handling system (BHS) project that ensnared Darman Mappangara in 2019.

"This is a sprindik recently published by the KPK," he said.

The Sprindik, continued Tessa, is also common. There has been no determination of a suspect. Investigators are still collecting and studying all the evidence and then asking for criminal responsibility to the appropriate parties for the procurement," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

As for this case, the anti-corruption commission has examined five witnesses at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Monday, October 28. They are the Director of PT Mitra Buana Komputindo (MBK), Natalia Gozali; Victor Antonio Kohar as Director of PT Asiatel Globalindo; Adiaris as Business Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2016-2017; Nilaway Djuanda as Finance Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia 2014-2019; and Senior Account Manager of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2017-2018, Yani Gustiana.
