Pramono Promises To Budget IDR 300 Billion For MSME Capital

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung promised to allocate a capital budget for MSMEs if they won the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Later, the capital cost for small business actors will be allocated IDR 300 billion for all MSMEs.

"We will issue funds for MSMEs, stimulated MSMEs, which are currently experiencing problems with capital. The figure is already there, which is 300 billion rupiah," said Pramono in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 24.

Pramono explained that the Rp300 billion budget would be used to facilitate lower-middle-class MSMEs to develop their businesses.

"Indeed, facilities, promotions, and so on must be assisted by the Jakarta government, and I will do it if I (selected as Governor of Jakarta), yes," said Pramono.

Pramono expressed this capital need after accommodating complaints from Tanah Abang Market traders. Where, on average, they experienced a 50 percent decrease in turnover.

"Although they are still surviving, the problem is that the rental price has decreased, then the turnover has decreased. They hope that the Jakarta government and the central government will help facilitate this place to become attractive again," he explained.

In addition, Pramono emphasized the need for regulations and fair policies for business actors for traditional business actors and online.

Pramono said that the provincial government and the central government must sit down together to make regulations governing digitalization. Because, according to his experience, when it was decided at the cabinet meeting the practice in his field was different.
