Honorary Teacher Bills Prabowo's Promise: He Says He Says October Wants To Be Liquid

TANGERANG Febri, one of the honorary teachers at SMAN 5 Tangerang City, admitted that he really hoped that Prabowo-Gibran's promise during the campaign would increase the teacher's salary of Rp. 2 million per month if he won the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Febri hopes that the promise can be realized. Because said Febri, the wages currently owned do not match what is currently being done.

"My hope really happened. Moreover, it's enough, just say it. That's enough," said Febri when met by VOI at SMAN 5 Tangerang City, Tuesday, October 21.

"If you hope, you really hope. Moreover, honorary teachers to educate the nation's children. How do you want to educate if our salaries don't match what they are doing," he continued.

Febri admitted that the current salary is only IDR 1.7 million. This amount is considered too small when compared to the current daily cost of living.

"The salary is Rp. 1.7 million," he said.

In line with Febri, another honorary teacher, Fajar (29) also admitted that he really hoped that the promise of the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia could keep his promise.

"I hope that Prabowo's promise will be realized, which he said this October will be disbursed. There will be additional allowances for teachers in Indonesia," he said.

"But I still respond to it, whether the 2 million must have conditions. Or is it free or otherwise. We still don't know what kind of system it is. Because we only campaign for 2 million promises per month for teachers in Indonesia," he said
