Garuda Party Chairman Was Policed In Case Of Alleged Persecution That Ended In Peace

JAKARTA - The general chairman of the Garuda Party, Ahmad Ridha Sabana, was reported by a woman on suspicion of mistreatment to the Polda Metro Jaya. However, the case ended peacefully.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the report on the alleged abuse was received on October 4.

"Investigators from Sub-Directorate of Renakta initially received a report on October 4 on suspicion of ordinary celebrations and/or minor abuse, (article) 351 or 352 of the Criminal Code," Ade told reporters, Wednesday, October 9.

However, not long after the report was received by Polda Metro Jaya, the reporting party with the initials AN decided to withdraw the report.

"Yes, that's right, and this has been revoked on October 4th," he said.

The reason behind the withdrawal of the report, said Ade, was because the reporting party and the reported party had resolved the problem amicably.

So, with the withdrawal of the report, the investigation process for the alleged abuse was stopped.

"Because it has been resolved amicably and the complainant will not take legal action in any form," said Ade.
