Nanik S. Deyang Leaves BGN for Health, Will Jewer His Replacement

Wednesday, July 22, the figure of a woman known to be behind the wheel of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik S. Deyang, shared a shocking news with the public through a post on his social media. It's not about new policies or state budgets, but about his steps that must be stopped for a moment to heal his heart.

A moment before flying abroad for medical treatment, Nanik officially submitted his resignation as Head of BGN to President Prabowo Subianto. A difficult decision that he had to make when the foundation for improving the institution was just being planted firmly.

Honesty, "Acute Trauma", and Presidential Blessing

This decision to resign is certainly not without obstacles. President Prabowo Subianto understands very well the situation Nanik is facing and agrees with the resignation. However, the President does not seem to be ready to let go of Nanik's expertise and assertiveness.

Instead, the President plans to form the BGN Supervisory Board and asks Nanik to occupy the top position. An offer that Nanik responded to with a humorous tone that was honest and touching.

"It is likely that the President will form a Supervisory Board where I am asked to be the chairman. If you are a coward, you can still do it, the important thing is not to have anything to do with holding money... an oath of acute trauma," Nanik wrote outlining his heart.

This straightforward statement shows the heavy burden and great moral responsibility that he has carried so far. Leading an institution that takes care of the nutrition of millions of Indonesian children is not an easy matter, especially when it comes to maintaining the integrity of the country's financial management.

"He is my brother, I can still be a jeweler"

Although he must focus on his health recovery, Nanik's attention has not shifted from BGN. He even gave a warm signal about who the figure would continue the baton of his leadership.

Without mentioning names explicitly, Nanik hinted that his successor was someone very close to him - someone he considered like his own family.

"Insyaallah my replacement is my 'little brother', where I can jewer if things go wrong," he joked warmly but still slipped a message of firmness.

For Nanik, whoever continues this relay must remain on the right track. The close emotional relationship is his guarantee that BGN's vision will not deviate from the original intention.

Sincerity for Indonesian Children's Dinner Plate

Behind his resignation, Nanik has great hopes for the continuation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program. For Nanik, this program is not just a calculation of numbers or political gimmicks, but an investment of sincerity for the future of the next generation of the nation.

He rejected the accusations of parties who viewed this nutrition program as a political tool.

"If for political purposes, the majority of beneficiaries are now toddlers to elementary school. Three years later in 2029 they have not yet voted," he said, rejecting prejudice with a simple but shocking logic.

Before packing his bags for treatment, Nanik made sure that the house he left was in a neat state. He has overhauled five I-level officials and formed 11 internal reform teams to thoroughly fix the BGN. This team will later oversee the distribution of nutrition to the remote, remote, and outermost areas (3T).

Now, Nanik has to fly far to take care of her tired heart. However, the traces of thought, grounded assertiveness, and mother's attention to the children of MBG beneficiaries will remain a valuable foundation for the National Nutrition Agency.
