Wild Dogs Treated As Fighters To Bite 12-Year-Old Boy, 2 Owners Arrested

JAKARTA - A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after being attacked by a fighter dog near his residence Brynmawr, southern Wales, England.

Citing Metro.co.uk, Tuesday, October 8, the Gwent regional police found reports of a fighter dog biting the victim's body on Monday, October 7 at 17.50 local time.

As a result of this incident, a man aged 37 and a 42-year-old woman were detained. Both are considered owners and breed stray dogs to become fighters who endanger the environment.

The dog that bit the victim is currently also being confiscated by the police.

The police have confirmed that there is no longer a danger from wild dogs being kept to fight in Brynmawr.

This is not the first time a child has been bitten by a dog in England.

Last week, a six-year-old girl was hospitalized after being bitten by a Japanese Akita dog in West Sussex.

An XL bully dog also threw a 10-year-old boy's head at the England Doncaster in July 2024.
