Firefighters Evacuate Cat's Body In A 35 Meter Deep Well

JAKARTA - Firefighters evacuated a cat that fell into a well in a residential area, Gardu Street, H Alley, RT 08/02, Balekambang Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta.

The evacuation of cats was carried out after the Kramat Jati Sector fire department received reports from residents regarding the presence of cat animals entering the well.

"The cat's position in the 35 meter deep well belongs to a resident named Nazwa. The cat was successfully evacuated but in a lifeless state," one of the firefighters told reporters, Tuesday, October 8.

The incident began when Nazwa, the owner of the cat, came to a guest. Then the pet cat suddenly ran away from his house and fell into the well.

Because it is difficult to reach and the well is too deep, the reporter contacted the Damkar.

"We have deployed 4 rescue personnel and 2,500 light pressure. The evacuation lasted about 110 minutes. But the cat's life could not be saved," he said.
