Big Explosion Occurs Near Lebanon's Beirut Airport As Israel Attacks

JAKARTA - The Israeli attack caused a major explosion near Beirut airport on the southern outskirts of the Lebanese capital.

Large smoke was seen rising from the southern Dahiyeh region after the attack. Commercial aircraft continued to depart and land at Beirut's international airport.

As reported by CNN, Monday, October 7, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) launched a precision attack on Beirut It was unclear whether the fighting Adraee meant was the same attack in southern Beirut.
