BMKG: Small Earthquakes In Several Regions In Indonesia Saturday-Sunday

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) noted that small earthquakes under a magnitude of 5.0 occurred in a number of areas in Indonesia from Saturday, October 5 to early Sunday, October 6.

BMKG in its X account reported a number of small earthquakes that occurred from Saturday night to early Sunday starting from an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 with a depth of 19 kilometers with a location of 73 km northwest of North Sulawesi Bolanguki on Saturday, October 5, at 20.12 WIB.

In addition, the earthquake also occurred with coordinates 652 km from the Northeast of Melonguane, North Sulawesi with a magnitude of 4.8 and a depth of 13 km around Saturday night at 21.40 WIB.

Furthermore, a shallow earthquake also occurred in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara on Saturday, October 5, at around 23.16 WIB with a magnitude of 3.1 and a depth of 10 kilometers. On Sunday morning, an earthquake occurred again with a location of 40 km southeast of Central Mamberamo, Papua with a magnitude of 4.2 and a depth of 25 kilometers.

There was a shallow earthquake 7 kilometers from the mainland of Bogor City at around 02.40 WIB with a depth of 5 kilometers and a magnitude of 2.5 and located 16 km northwest of Garut Regency, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.7 with a depth of 8 kilometers at 02.44 WIB.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 with a location of 122 km northwest of North Sulawesi Melonguane at 03.15 WIB with a depth of 133 kilometers. Moving about 70 km southeast of North Sumatra's Nias Regency there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 and a depth of 10 kilometers at 04.24 WIB.

Furthermore, at 04.30 WIB there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5 with a location of 49 km southwest of North Morowali, Central Sulawesi with a depth of 10 kilometers.
