11-year-old Boy In Maros Raped By 2 Teenagers, Uncle's Friend Victim

MAROS - An 11-year-old girl was raped by two teenagers who were none other than friends of the victim's uncle, in Tompobulu District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. One of the two perpetrators is still a minor.

After the victim's mother reported to the police, officers from the Jatanras Unit of the Maros Police together with the Tompobulu Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested one by one the perpetrators of the rape. They were arrested while they were at their respective homes in Arra Hamlet, Tompobulu Village, Tompobulu District, Maros Regency.

It is known that the victim was raped alternately in the bush, not far from the victim's uncle's house.

Unfortunately, one of the two perpetrators is a minor who is 14 years old with the initials AS. Meanwhile, one other perpetrator with the initials ES (19 years old). They were then taken to Maros Police Headquarters for examination.

From the officer's interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had raped the victim in turn by taking a walk.

"Starting with the intention of om the victim to introduce the perpetrator ES to the victim. However, the suspect ES because he did not have a vehicle met them on the side of the road in Tompobulu Village by borrowing the motorbike of the suspect AS so that the suspect AS also met with aunts, uncles, and victims," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Maros Iptu Aditya Pandu, Thursday 26 September.

The rape began when the two perpetrators, who were friends of the victim's uncle, asked permission to invite the victim to walk around the house. But instead of being invited to walk, the victim was instead raped in turns by the perpetrator. After raping, the perpetrator then took the victim back to his uncle's house.

"Tiba di sana kemudian arakai kata saya, kemudian korban pindah ikut tersangka ES dan AS berjalan dulu menuju ke hutan. Nah di situ kemudian terjadi kejadian," sambungnya.

This rape case was also uncovered when the victim told the incident to her mother, who then complained to the police.

Currently, the two perpetrators have been named suspects and detained at the Maros Police Headquarters and charged with the Child Protection Act with the threat of 15 years in prison.
