Aceh Immigration Rate Of Foreigner Supervision

The Immigration Division of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in the Aceh region increases the supervision of foreigners in the western tip of Indonesia.

Head of the Immigration Enforcement Sub-Division of the Aceh Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office, Denni Tresno, said the increase in supervision was to ensure that no foreign nationals violated their residence permits.

"We continue to increase surveillance in order to prevent violations of regulations by foreign nationals. This supervision also prevents misuse of residence permits and reduces the potential problems that arise," he said, quoting Antara.

Previously, the Immigration Division team of the Aceh Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office carried out surveillance and intelligence operations against foreigners in the Pulau Banyak Islands area, Aceh Singkil Regency.

During the operation, said Denni Tresno, the team found a number of foreign nationals, including those from Spain and Italy. The team checked and found their immigration documents with a valid visit residence permit

Then, the team also found a husband and wife of a foreign national with limited stay permits. The team also examined 12 foreign tourists who were surfing the waves onLOlok Island Beach, Banyak Island Islands.

"The foreign tourist activities are also part of our focus on monitoring and inspection. The goal is to ensure they comply with the applicable immigration rules," said Denni Tresno.

He said the focus of the examination of foreign nationals includes the detection of residence permits, passport checks, and interviews related to their activities while in Indonesian territory.

"We are also committed to ensuring that all foreign nationals in Aceh Province comply with the applicable laws and regulations. This supervision is expected to have a positive impact on immigration management in this area," said Denni Tresno.
