Mukomuko Satpol PP Service Keeps 37 Honorary Personnel

MUKOMUKO - Service of the Mukomuko Regency Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Bengkulu Province, confirmed that it will maintain 37 personnel with regional honorary status.

"What we want is that the honorary staff at the Satpol PP Service have special treatment because without them we can't afford it, so they must be maintained," said Head of the Mukomuko District Satpol PP Office Jodi in Mukomuko, Antara, Sunday, January 5.

A total of 43 members of the Satpol PP who are regional honorariums at the Mukomuko Satpol PP Service, have now decreased to 37 people because three people have passed government employee tests with work agreements (PPPK) and three prospective civil servants (CPNS).

Regarding the number of Satpol PP personnel with regional honorary status, not only in Mukomuko Regency, in Indonesia alone around 75 percent of Satpol PP personnel have the status of honorary staff.

According to him, his party cannot work without the assistance of this honorary staff. Therefore, his party hopes that the local government will continue to prepare a budget to pay the salaries of honorary workers in this service who do not pass the PPPK or CPNS tests.

He said that the Satpol PP personnel in this service, apart from their status as regional honorariums who were paid from the APBD, there were also Satpol PP personnel who were voluntary workers (TKS).

"These TKS number as many as 51 people, they are listed in our service, and they have the spirit of work even though they are paid every month," he said.

Jodi said that this service needed them at any time there were major activities such as securing the celebration of this regional anniversary and other big holidays, but they did not enter every day.

Furthermore, he said, his party would call this TKS to ask them whether they still want to serve or not because the local government does not have a budget to pay their salaries.

He said, if they are still ready to serve the local government, then they will be equipped with PDL equipment and uniforms so that the equipment can be used at any time they are on duty.

"If they are still ready, then when it is time for them to be ready to assist local governments in securing and enforcing regional regulations," said Jodi.
