Elderly In Pulogadung Fun Playing Cellphones In Front Of Home, Struck By Spontaneously Shouting

JAKARTA - A motorized man has the heart to snatch a cellphone belonging to an elderly woman carrying a stick to walk on Jalan Tanah Koja 4, Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

The incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene. In the CCTV footage, the perpetrator is seen riding a motorbike alone.

After seeing the victim sitting alone in front of the shop playing with his cellphone, the perpetrator immediately approached the victim.

The perpetrator had stopped in front of the victim and took the target cellphone and fled.

Spontaneously the victim screamed thief until finally residents who heard the victim's screams immediately chased the perpetrator. However, the pursuit of the residents was unsuccessful.

"The thief, the thief, the thief of my cellphone. Riding his motorbike," said the victim while trying to chase the perpetrator at the time of the incident.

According to a resident named Ati, at first he and the victim sat down together. However, because his leg was sick, he entered his house.

"I'm playing games. At first I sat down with the victim, then because my leg hurt, I came in. I just got off bed, he had shouted robbers like that. He (the perpetrator) himself was here, playing cellphones, playing games. There were people chasing but not getting hit (not being caught)," said Ati to reporters, Friday, September 13.

After the incident occurred, the victim immediately made a report accompanied by residents at the nearest Polsek. The victim hopes that the perpetrator will be caught soon and his cellphone will be able to return.

"The perpetrator himself did not use medication. The perpetrator immediately snatched, immediately fled. The victim screamed, the residents had chased. The victim had reported to the police," he said.
