Fake Prosecutor In Mataram Who Tricked Siri's Wife For Rp40 Million In Money Arrested

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office has arrested a fake prosecutor with the initials OR (29) who is suspected of deliberately playing this role to deceive his wife in Mataram City.

Deputy Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Dedie Tri Haryadi, said that his party would submit the OR to the Mataram Police.

"We have coordinated and now we just need to hand over the case to the Mataram Police," said Dedie as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 9.

He explained that the arrest of a man from Bolo, Bima Regency was a follow-up to Ade Kutari's report, who is the wife of Siri OR. Both of them just got married in May 2024.

"So, at around 15.00 WITA, the NTB Prosecutor's Office received a report from the person concerned (Ade Kutari), he asked about the certainty of her husband's job as an intelligence prosecutor who likes to arrest fugitives at the NTB Prosecutor's Office," he said.

After checking, Dedie confirmed that OR was not part of the prosecutor's personnel at the NTB Prosecutor's Office.

"We checked the truth of the reporter's information, and the person concerned (OR) is not a prosecutor," he said.

Finally, the prosecutor's office conducted an OR search and succeeded in detecting his whereabouts on Jalan Pendidikan, Mataram City, in front of the NTB Youth Center.

"It was at around 16.15 WITA that his whereabouts were tracked down and immediately secured by our intelligence team and taken to the NTB Prosecutor's Office," he said.

From the results of the interrogation, OR admitted that he was a prosecutor to his wife just to make sure he got a loan of Rp40 million.

"The mode is for his wife to believe, he (OR) follows the NTB Attorney General's Instagram and shows the activities of our Sowing team (arrest fugitives) to his wife," he said.

The perpetrator of OR was also recorded as having taken a CPNS test from the Prosecutor's Office in 2023. However, the person concerned did not pass.
