Secretary General Of Gerindra Signals Megawati-Prabowo Meeting To Be Held Before The Inauguration Of The President

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani gave a meeting signal between PDI-P General Chair (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri and Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia is said to have left greetings to the elected president.

This was conveyed by Muzani when telling her meeting with Megawati during the submission of the TAP MPRS No. XXXIII/MPRS/1967 letter to the extended family of the first President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno or Bung Karno today, Monday, September 9.

"Earlier, Mrs. Mega, I haven't seen her for a long time, she met me, I remember, 'Mas Muzani is very fat,' that's it. So she was asked to lose weight," Muzani told reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 9.

Muzani said the message was only conveyed by Megawati to someone close to her. After that, he gave greetings to Prabowo.

"Mrs. Mega said hello to Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Prabowo also expressed a misrespect for Mrs. Mega," he said.

The Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI did not talk much more about Megawati's greeting. He only said that the moment was a good signal,

Meanwhile, when asked about the meeting between Prabowo-Megawati, Muzani only mentioned the possibility of happening. All parties are asked to wait, including the question of the time mentioned before the inauguration.

"God willing, it will happen (meeting between Prabowo-Megawati, ed). Hopefully (before the inauguration, ed)," concluded Muzani.
