Pramono: Anyone Who Fights In Jakarta Must Be Close To Anies Supporters

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Governor's Candidate, Pramono Anung, assesses that whoever will fight in the Jakarta Pilkada must be close to Anies Baswedan's supporters.

The reason, he said, was that the former Governor of DKI Jakarta had a lot of supporters.

This was conveyed by Pramono after meeting Rais Syuriah PWNU Jakarta, Kiai Muhyidin Ishaq, in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 7.

"Mas Anies, after all he was an incumbent governor five years ago and he received extraordinary support. So I think it is natural that anyone who fights in Jakarta must also be close to Mas Anies supporters," Pramono told reporters after the meeting, Saturday.

Despite having extraordinary support when competing in the 2017 Pilkada and the 2024 presidential election, Pramono assessed that the mass of supporters of Anies Baswedan could quickly make a choice in the gubernatorial election.

Pramono said Anies voters were very rational. Even said Mas Pram, the main management also helped Anies during the previous gubernatorial election.

"The rational supporters of Mas Anies, I believe they can quickly make choices. Even if they are observed carefully, some of the main administrators in my place are also helping Mas Anies during the last gubernatorial election," he concluded.
