Closed Since July Due To The Construction Of The Jakarta LRT, The Velodrome Bus Stop Is Now Back In Operation

JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta operates the Velodrome Bus Stop again, East Jakarta today. The Velodrome bus stop was previously closed since mid-July due to the construction of the 1B phase of the Jakarta LRT on the Velodrome-Manggarai route.

The Velodrome bus stop serves Corridor 4 (Pulo Gadung Galunggung) and route 4D (Pulo Gadung - Kuningan).

"Starting today, customers will be able to access the Velodrome bus stop again to get on and off the bus. It is hoped that the operation of this bus stop will make it easier for customers to operate again, and more and more people will use Transjakarta services," said Head of the Department of Public Relations and CSR Transjakarta Ayu Wardhani in his statement, Wednesday, September 4.

The Velodrome bus stop is currently equipped with various supporting facilities such as gate machines, Passager Information System (PIS) screens that display information on bus arrival times to Wi-Fi that can be enjoyed by customers.

"We are grateful to all customers who chose their trip with Transjakarta. Transjakarta continues to be committed to improving services to customers," said Ayu.

Previously, Transjakarta provided a temporary bus stop to replace the Velodrome Bus service on Jalan Pemuda, East Jakarta.

As long as the Velodrome Bus Stop is closed, there are several adjustments to bus routes that stop at bus stop points. Route 4 (Pulogadung - Galunggung) is diverted to serve bus stops on the edge. Galungung direction stops at Bus Stop Velodrome 3. Meanwhile, Pulo Gadung direction stops at Bus Stop Jakarta International Velodrome.

Then, the 4D Route (Pulo Gadung - Kuningan) was diverted to serve bus stops on the edge. Kuningan direction stopped at Bus Stop Velodrome 3. Pulo Gadung direction stopped at Bus Stop Jakarta International Velodrome.
