Man in Cengkareng struggles with pain after being doused with acid while riding his girlfriend on a motorbike

JAKARTA The couple became victims of drinking hard water by two young motorcyclists on Jalan Nusa Indah, Duri Kosambi Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, last Sunday, September 1.

The act of sprinkling hard water was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene. The incident began when the victim passed at the scene with his girlfriend. But suddenly the victim's motorbike was grabbed by the perpetrator who came from behind.

The main perpetrator was pouring hard water wearing a sweater jacket and sitting on the back seat of the automatic motorbike pouring hard water on the victim's face.

Then the motorbike driven by the other perpetrators immediately stopped and turned around to escape. Meanwhile, the victim, whose face was doused with hard water, tried to stop his motorbike and pulled over.

The victim parked his motorbike and walked for help to a shop. The victim was seen jumping around due to pain in his face. The victim was loaded and sitting limp.

A number of residents then provided assistance with a dipper and a bucket filled with water to pour it on the victim's head. But the victim continued to struggle with pain. Residents then came to the scene to evacuate the victim.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Diaman Saragih, confirmed the incident.

"The victim has made a police report. The case has been handled by the Cengkareng Police," said AKP Diaman when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 3.
