As is known, in the 2024 Banten Pilgub, Andra Soni was paired with PKS politician, Ahmad Dimyati Natakusumah. This pair received support from 10 political parties to compete in the gubernatorial election.

The ten parties that support Andra Sonoi-Dimyati include the Gerindra Party, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Nasdem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the National Mandate Party (PAN), the United Development Party (PPP), the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Democratic Party, the Garda Republik Indonesia Party (Garuda), and the People's Fair and Prosperous Party (Prima).

Profile Andra Soni is a Gerindra Party cadre. He was born in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra on August 12, 1976. When he was a toddler, Andra was taken by her parents to Malaysia, who at that time became an illegal migrant worker in the neighboring country.

Despite his status as an illegal TKI child, Andra still had the opportunity to go to school from the Malaysian Government. He entered an elementary school (SD) equivalent school.

After graduating from elementary school, Andra and her brother returned to Indonesia and lived in Ciledug, Tangerang City. Andra's return to Indonesia because he did not have complete documents to continue his education to the Junior High School (SMP) level in Malaysia.

Next, Andra continued her education to a junior high school in Jakarta. she runs a school period with a mediocre economy. In fact, it is not uncommon for you to stay at a friend's house because you run out of costs to go home. Because he often ran out of costs, Andra was also offered to stay at his friend's house.

It turned out that his friend's father was Raden Muhidin Wiranata Kusuma, the son of Raden Aria Adipati Wiranata Kusuma who had served as the first Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs.

After graduating from MS, Andra worked for a company in Jakarta. He also set aside some of his income to register for STIE Bhakti for the Diploma III program development.

But in the middle of the road, the company that employs Andra is experiencing bankruptcy due to the miner crisis. He also switched jobs to couriers or correspondence.

Andra continues to live busy work and college until her career increases over time, from being a salesperson, branch head, to marketing manager.

Armed with sufficient experience, Andra is determined to build his own company in the expedition field. Slowly but surely, Andra's business was successful. The company he built now has representatives in several countries.

After being successful in the business world, Andra decided to enter politics. In the 2024 election, Andra ran as a candidate for legislature from the Gerindra Party and managed to qualify with a fairly satisfactory vote.

Next, the Gerindra Party appointed Andra as Secretary of the Gerindra Banten DPD accompanying Desmon J Mahesa.

In the 2019 election, Andra entered the contest again. With various considerations, Gerindra recommended Andra to become chairman of the Banten Provincial DPRD. He was sworn in on Monday, September 16, 2019.

After five years of occupying the seat of Chairman of the Banten DPRD, Gerindra and the Democratic Party carried Andra as the governor's broker to run in the 2024 Banten Pilgub contestation. He was paired with PKS cadre Dimyati Natakusumah.
