Russia Bans Entry Of 92 United States Citizens Permanently, There Are Military Officials To Journalists

JAKARTA - Russia has permanently banned 92 United States citizens from entering its territory in response to the Russophobia policy of President Joe Biden's administration, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"As a reaction to the Russophobia policy pursued by the Joe Biden administration with the aim of declared 'to cause a strategic defeat in Moscow,' whose integral part is a 'uniform' sanction against Russian politicians, members of the business community, scientists and cultural figures, journalists and media organizations, entering the Russian Federation is permanently banned for 92 US citizens," the ministry said., reported TASS August 29.

The ban applies to several journalists from the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and the New York Times, according to the statement.

"In addition to officials at the top and other levels in security and special services agencies, heads of major defense companies and financial institutions supplying weapons to Ukrainian armed forces and sponsoring the regime in Kyiv," the ministry said.

"The list includes editorial staff and reporters from various leading liberal-globalist publications involved in the production and spread of false stories about Russia and Russia's armed forces as well as propaganda that covers Washington's 'hybrid war'," the ministry continued.

Among people prohibited from entering Russia are top officials such as US Space Command Commander Stephen Whiting, Space System Command Commander Philip Garrant, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy John Plumb.

Next, journalists on the ban list include David Stern, Adam Taylor and Shane Harris from the Washington Post; Lara Jakes and Andrew Kramer from the New York Times; Wall Street Journal Editor-in-Chief Emma Tucker and former bureau chief in Moscow Nathan Hodge.
