JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption in the management of national economic recovery funds (PEN) as well as the procurement of goods and services (PBJ) in the Situbondo Regency Government in 2021 – 2024. Meanwhile, regarding the state losses in the corruption case at the Situbondo Regency Government, Tessa did not want to talk much. He only ensured that this investigation was not related to the corruption case of PEN funds that ensnared the former Director General of Regional Finance at the Ministry of Home Affairs Mochamad Ardian Noervianto. "This departs from the investigation itself, not the development," he said. Previously reported, the KPK conducted investigations into alleged corruption related to the management of national economic recovery funds (PEN) as well as the procurement of goods and services (PBJ) in the Situbondo Regency Government in 2021 – 2024. Two people were named as suspects. This investigation is said to have been carried out since August 6. The two parties named as suspects are KS and EP as state administrators in the Situbondo Regency Government. However, the anti-corruption commission has not been able to detail the two suspects. They were only revealed when the forced detention effort was carried out after the evidence was declared sufficient.

In this case, KPK investigators have also searched the official residences and the regent's office. As a result, documents and electronic evidence were found from the location which were then confiscated and will be clarified to related parties.
