Police Chase Student Stabbing Perpetrators On Jalan Raya Pondok Gede

The Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still conducting an investigation regarding clashes between a group of students and residents on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.

"There is a commotion. But the perpetrators are still investigating," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Capandi when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, August 29.

Until now, the police are still gathering a number of witnesses related to the incident for further questioning. The police are also still gathering evidence to explore the motive for the clashes.

"The victim's witness has returned to his area, to Ambon," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a clash occurred between a group of students and residents on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Monday night, August 26.

One victim (student) with the initials SS suffered a sharp weapon stab wound.

The incident began when the victim SS and two of his friends were buying food on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede. Furthermore, two perpetrators suddenly came carrying sharp weapons and immediately chased the victim.

Because he could not avoid it, the victim SS was finally stabbed by a sickle by the perpetrator. The victim suffered a wound to the shoulder of the right arm. Seeing the victim lying down, the perpetrators fled. While the victim was taken to the nearest hospital.

Furthermore, the victim's colleague called another group of students and again attacked the perpetrators who were known to be residents of the Mundu Gang. One unit of a motorbike belonging to the residents was burned by the masses.
