JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has prepared a scheme to secure the registration of candidates for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta. A total of 1,088 personnel were alerted. "The registration for Cagub and Cawagub Jakarta is 1,088 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his statement, Tuesday, August 27. The thousands of personnel deployed consisted of 669 percent of the Task Force and around 319 personnel from the Task Force. They will be placed at two points, namely the Office of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia and Jakarta. "669 personnel (as alerted) at the DKI Jakarta KPUD and 319 personnel at the RI KPU," he said. Meanwhile, the registration of candidates in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation lasts for three days starting from 27 to 29 August 2024. The registration process for the first day until the second day starts at 08.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB.
