JAKARTA - Banten gubernatorial candidate (readgub) Rachmi Diany admitted that he was ready to create a program to throw tengkes or stunting if elected. He will definitely prioritize data that in the future must be corrected.

This was conveyed by Airin in response to the mission of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to eradicate stunting in Banten. This request was conveyed by the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia when submitting a decree carrying Airin-Ade Sumardi today, Monday, August 26.

"Of course what we have to make sure when we create the activity program that you said earlier, Mrs. Mega, convey the data. The data is important," Airin told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Airin said that data improvement is expected to make the program he made more effective. If it starts with inappropriate data, usually the target is not optimal. Now, it is clear that today in Banten province there is already data," he said.

In addition to data issues, Airin also conveyed that the role of posyandu cadres was further enhanced at the next opportunity. They are at the forefront of the stunting prevention process in the community.

Where we have extraordinary posyandu cadres. Those who actively carry out coaching. They provide nutritional intake. They carry out monitoring and evaluation. They report to us by the government. So it will be very helpful," he said.

Karena tidak mungkin satu dinas saja akan memenuhi atau menyelesaikan persoalan stunting yang ada di provinsi Banten. Dan kita juga punya BKKBN. Tentunya BKKBN juga bisa membantu kita sebagai unsur vertical pemerintah pusat yang ada di daerah, tambah Airin yang merupakan kader Partai Golkar.

Previously reported, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri asked Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi to prioritize tengkes or stunting alleviation. The figure should not only be reduced but really has to be zero.
