JAKARTA - Crazy rich Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Helena Lim, is said to have destroyed evidence of Harvey Moeis' transaction when collecting security money from a private smelter company that was made as if CSR funds.
The disclosure of this was based on the indictment read by the public prosecutor (JPU) in the trial of alleged corruption in the management of tin commodity trading in the mining business permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk for the period 2015 to 2022.
"The defendant Helena deliberately lost or destroyed evidence of financial transactions carried out by Harvey Moeis together
"With Suparta (PT Refined Bangka Tin), Tamron Alias Aon (CV Venus Inti Perkasa), Robert Indarto (PT Sariwiguna Binasentosa), Suwito Gunawan (PT Stanindo Inti Perkasa), Fandy Lingga and Rosalina (PT Tinindo Internusa)," said the prosecutor at the trial at the Corruption Court in Jakarta, Wednesday, August 21.
It was stated that the money received by Helena worth Rp420 billion was handed over to Harvey by disguising it as if it were a business capital deposit or debt payment.
"The transaction of exchanging money and sending to Harvey Moeis' account by writing down the purpose of the transaction disguised as a 'business capital deposit' or 'payment of debts' even though there is no debt relationship or business capital between the defendant Helen and PT Quantum Skyline Exchange with Harvey Moeis," he said.
Then, Helena's transaction was also not supported by the requirements according to applicable regulations, namely it was not equipped with a Population Identity Card and there was no information for transactions above 25,000 United States (US) dollars.
Helena is also said to have not reported the transaction to Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Analysis and Transaction Report Center (PPATK).
"Transactions have not been reported to Bank Indonesia or to the Center
Financial Analysis and Transaction Reports (PPATK) and also not listed in the financial statements of PT Quantum Skyline Exchange on the money changer carried out by Harvey Moeis together with Suparta (PT Refined Bangka Tin), Tamron Alias Aon (CV Venus Inti Perkasa), Robert Indarto (PT Sariwiguna Binasentosa), Suwito Gunawan (PT Stanindo Inti Perkasa), Fandy Lingga and Rosalina (PT Tinindo Internusa) at PT Quantum Skyline Exchange," said Sisa.
Helena Lim was charged with helping Harvey Moeis secure the five private smelter companies worth IDR 420 billion.
By helping Harvey Moeis, the defendant Helena Lim made a profit of around Rp900 million.
"Defendant Helena through PT Quantum Skyline Exchange received a total profit of approximately Rp900 million with a calculation of Rp 30 times USD 30 million, the amount exchanged at PT Quantum Skyline Exchange," said the prosecutor.
