A total of 78 of the 1,524 polling stations (TPS) for the 2024 Pilkada in Kotba Bogor are declared to be at a disaster-prone point.
This was conveyed based on data from the Bogor City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) together with the General Elections Commission (KPU).
"At least match the location by shifting it to a safer location. Talking about disasters is indeed God's power, but our efforts are to be able to so that the implementation of this regional election can run smoothly," said Head of BPBD Bogor City Hidayatulloh in Bogor City, Tuesday, August 20, confiscated by Antara.
He said, from the Bogor City BPBD data, the district with the most polling stations at disaster-prone points was West Bogor District with 27 polling stations, followed by North Bogor with 16 polling stations, then South Bogor with 11 polling stations.
Then, in Central Bogor and Tanah Sareal sub-districts, there are 9 polling stations each, then in East Bogor there are 6 polling stations.
Hidayatulloh explained that the majority of the TPS-TPS are in areas prone to landslides, track flooding, and tornadoes.
"Well, these locations are often the case, we hope that the area will shift the location of the TPS. If it is flooding in that location, then it will be shifted to a higher place," he explained.
If the TPS is at a point that is mapped prone to tornadoes, Hidayatulloh recommends that the TPS does not use a tent.
"If it's a tornado, don't use a tent, but a building location that can be used by officers," he said.
