Happy 79th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia, Iranian President: Jakarta-Tehran Relations Help The Creation Of Peace And Stability

JAKARTA - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Jakarta's relations with Tehran helped create peace and stability in the world.

That was said by President Pezeshkian while congratulating the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which falls today.

In a congratulatory message to Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Friday, President Pezeshkian said the increase in relations between Tehran and Jakarta would also help create more peace and stability around the world, as reported by IRNA on August 17.

He refers to the historical ties between Iran and Indonesia which he believes can pave the way for closer relations and friendship between the two countries.

President Pezeshkian said the expansion of relations between Iran and Indonesia would help foster unity among the world's Muslims.

It is known that Masoud Pezeshkian was sworn in as the 9th president of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Iranian Parliament on July 30.

The inauguration was carried out following his victory in the second round of the Iranian elections on July 5, where he won 16,384,403 votes out of a total of 30,530,157 votes.
