According to Candra, the shooting resulted in the death toll at the scene at around 18.30 East Indonesia Time (WIT).
"This incident began during the inauguration of the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) simultaneously in Puncak Jaya Regency 2024 at Sport Center," he said.
