On The Second Day Of The Search For Toddlers Dragged By The Tabbuo River, West Sumatra, 100 SAR Members Were Distributed

The search for a toddler named Fatin (5) who was swept away by the Tambuo River in Jorong Pasa, Nagari or Batu Kambing Village, Ampek Nagari District, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), was again carried out today. The Head of Emergency and Logistics Division of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Agam Ichwan Pratama Danda said as many as 100 joint SAR team members were deployed for the search.

He said 100 members of the joint SAR team were divided into four small teams and each team with a total of about 25 people. The first team conducted a sweep from the bridge to the scene and the second team conducted a sweep with rafting from Lubuk Ngun to the bottom.

Meanwhile, a team of three sweeping using a viber boat decreased from concrete to bottom and a team of four combed the riverbanks from the Bawang dam. "We are mobilizing full strength in finding the presence of victims dragged by this current," he said.

Ia mengatakan, satu keluarga di Padang Alai, Jorong Kampuang Malayu, Nagari atau Desa Sitalang, Kecamatan Ampek Nagari terseret arus sungai dan satu orang korban belum ditemukan pada Selasa 6 Agustus sekitar pukul 17.30 WIB.Korban terseret arus sungai tambuo di Jorong Pasa, Nagari atau Desa Batu Kambing, Kecamatan Ampek Nagari saat sepeda motor ayahnya atas nama Eri Marianto (36) melewati jembatan di daerah itu.Tiba-tiba air sungai besar dan terbawa arus yang meluap setelah curah hujan cukup tinggi melanda daerah itu, Selasa 6 Agustus sore.Akibatnya, ibu korban bernama Reni Andayani (32) dan Fatin terseret arus sungai tersebut.Reni sudah ditemukan sekitar 20 meter dari jembatan dalam keadaan selamat. "Reni selamat dan ayah korban tidak hanyut. Ayahnya mencoba mencari korban," tandasnya.
