JAKARTA - The stabbing that killed two people was carried out by Palestinians in Israel on Sunday, August 4.
Israeli authorities say the stabbing perpetrator has been paralyzed by police by being shot dead.
"Preventing him from carrying out a worse attack," said police spokesman Eli Levi on Israel's Channel 12, quoted by Reuters, Sunday, August 4.
This stabbing occurred during peak hours. The attacker stabbed people near a gas station and a park in Holon City, near Tel Avi.
In addition to the two victims who died, two others were injured and rushed to the hospital (RS).
The Hamas law enforcement group said the stabbing was a "natural response" to Israeli attacks on Gaza and retaliation for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Iran recently.
