Bandung Police Chief Kombes Kusworo Wibowo said the INS victim was known to have been missing since seven months ago and is suspected of being buried since January 2024.

The police chief said that the INS family had lost contact with the victim since January 13, 2024, until they received news that the victim died because he was killed by the main suspect with the initials A (23) and found out that the victim was buried in Ciburial Village, Pacet, Bandung Regency.
"On July 28, 2024, the victim's family received information from residents who said that the victim had been killed by her husband, namely suspect A," he said.

The victim was killed by the main suspect with the initials A along with three other suspects who were friends of the perpetrator using a machete.
"The three suspects in his house helped suspect A by holding hands, feet and silencing the victim when the suspect slit the victim with a machete," he said.
The perpetrators were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder and Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution with the threat of a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
