More Than One Victim Of Child Abuse At Daycare Depok

Police said the victim of abuse occurred at a child care center or Daycare, Cimanggis, Depok, more than one person.

Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Arya Pradana said based on CCTV footage at the scene, it was seen that another victim was involved in violence at the child care site.

"Yes, so we did find 3 videos if I'm not mistaken on different days and dates. And we are currently tracing that there are other victims in the video who may be abused or abused by the perpetrators," Arya told reporters, Wednesday, July 31.

However, said Arya, his party had just received a report regarding the act of persecution.

"Currently one," he said.

Therefore, to ensure the presence of other victims, his party is currently tracing the videos recorded on CCTV at the scene.

"But later maybe if there is more from the Investigation Unit, from the existing video, we will investigate if there are other victims who want to report. Later, if there is, we will make a police report," he said.

Previously, an influencer with the initials MI was arrested on suspicion of molesting a 2-year-old boy at a child care center or Daycare in the Depok area, West Java.

The alleged perpetrator has been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 80 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 80 Paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 5 years in prison.
