Reviewing Damaged Bridge And Complaining Of Garbage In The River, Mayor Bobby: The Medan Government Will Take Serious Response

JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution promised to repair the damaged bridge in Medan Polonia District. Not only that, but the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also promised to clean up the garbage on the riverbank around the bridge.

"This problem will be taken seriously by Medan City Government", said Bobby, quoted from his Instagram account @bobbynst, Tuesday, March 22.

He said that this damaged bridge was really needed by the surrounding community. This is because the bridge connects Medan Polonia and Medan Maimun Districts.

“This damaged bridge is passed by the community on a daily basis. There are also many school children who cross the bridge", he said.

Apart from repairing this bridge, the PDIP Party politician also said that other infrastructure improvements in Medan would be his concern.

"Repairing existing infrastructure in the city of Medan is also included in the Medan City Government's main priority program", he said.

Seeing Bobby's action, many netizens asked him to inspect other places where the infrastructure needed to be repaired.
