Mayor Bobby Nasution Meets Regency Of Government Deli Serdang, Ready To Collaborate To Overcome Floods In Medan

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, met with representatives of the Deli Serdang Regency Government. Bobby Nasution wants to collaborate in overcoming floods in Medan City.

"Flooding is a big problem that can be resolved if there are good coordination and collaboration from all parties", said Bobby in a post on Instagram @bobbynst, Monday. March 22.

During the meeting, the Mayor and the Deli Serdang Regency Government agreed to work together in overcoming cleanliness, inundation, flooding, and other problems. Moreover, many areas of Medan are directly adjacent to Deli Serdang.

"I believe it will be good for both parties", said Bobby.

One of the netizens then appealed to other Medan residents to support the Mayor's steps to fix Medan.

"If the mayor has made an effort here and there to change the city of Medan, now the community will cooperate in disposing of garbage in its place. Hopefully, Medan City can become a pilot city for waste management and flood prevention", wrote @indah_srg16.

Bobby responded to the netizen's comments. Bobby then invited Medan residents to work together to fix Medan.

"Let us collaborate and fight together to fix the city of Medan", he replied.

The Medan Tajir Promise

In the 2020 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada), Bobby Nasution promoted the Medan Medan Tajir program. This program aims to make Medan City without flooding.

"Medan Tajir or Medan without flooding is one of the priority programs that Aulia and I plan to solve the problem of flooding in the city of Medan. We ask for your prayers and support so that our intention to turn Medan into a city without flooding can be realized”, said Bobby Nasution, Thursday, October 8.

The problem of the Medan City flood, according to Jokowi's son-in-law, has never been resolved. Therefore, the Medan Tajir program has become a priority program with the vice mayor of Medan, Aulia Rachman.

In his Instagram account, Bobby included a video of the flood conditions and confided in the residents. Bobby also walked through the village on the riverbank.

"To solve this flood requires collaboration between the Medan City Government, North Sumatra Provincial Government, and the central government", said Bobby.
