KKP Agrees On Prabowo's Free Eating Program To Present A Fish Menu

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) stated that it agreed on the free nutritious dining program launched by the President-elect Prabowo Subianto and the elected Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.KKP revealed that fish can be a menu that is presented in a free nutritious dining program because of the nutritional content they have. This is in line with the KKP program which has the Fish Food Community Movement (Gemariness) program. Namun demikian, diakuinya masih ada tugas tersendiri dalam mengentaskan kekerdilan ini.Bahkan, di beberapa daerah yang dikenal sebagai penghasil ikan justru memiliki angka stunting yang terbilang tinggi.Diketahui, Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Sakti Wahyu Trenggono mengusulkan pemberian ikan pada menu program makan bergizi gratis dapat disesuaikan dengan wilayahnya.Ia menyebut beberapa wilayah di Indonesia memiliki komoditas ikan unggulan sebagai potensi yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memasok ikan sebagai salah satu menunya.“Saya mengusulkan tematik sebetulnya. Jadi kalau misalnya wilayah Indonesia timur, kan dia lebih suka ikan dibanding daging kan. Terus kemudian jangan dari pusat, tapi itu berkembang di daerah yang menyuplai ikannya,” ujar Trenggono.
