PALEMBANG - South Sumatra Police deployed 150 personnel to raid a drug nest in the Tanggo Bentung area, Palembang. Wadirresnarkoba Polda Sumsel AKBP Harissandi mengatakan, dari hasil penggerebekan pihaknya mengamankan lima orang di tiga lokasi Tanggo Bentung. "From the results of the raid, we managed to secure five people in three different locations and it is possible that all the other perpetrators had managed to escape before the police arrived," he said after the raid in Palembang, Antara, Tuesday, July 23. He added that all the perpetrators are currently being taken to the Palembang Polrestabes for further investigation and urine tests. In addition to securing residents suspected of using drugs, his party also secured a number of types and packages of methamphetamine. "We also found Pirek and methamphetamine packages in front of the fence. We also found many used methamphetamine plastics and some evidence that had been burned," he said. In addition to the Narcotics Unit and the Narcotics Directorate, the raid was also attended by the Mobile Brigade Unit, Polairud, the Palembang Police Satreskrim.
