Police Check Cooking Rice Sellers Regarding The Discovery Of A Man's Body Behind The Bantargebang TPST Office

BEKASI - Police are still investigating the death of a man named Waryanto (53), who was found behind the Bantargebang TPST office, Bekasi City in a condition covered with sacks, while his feet and hands were tied with mines. Strong suspicion, Waryanto was killed.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus, said that his party was investigating the witness with the initials B, a fried rice maker near the scene.

"Still investigating the testimony of witness B, the owner of a fried rice shop," said Firdaus when confirmed, Monday, July 22.

Firdaus admitted that until now his party was still having difficulty uncovering the case. Therefore, police officers are still checking at the scene.

He added that there was CCTV near the scene before the body was found. However, the problem is that the surveillance camera did not record the incident.

"There is 1 CCTV near the victim's rented house but it doesn't record because the CCTV model is only live," he said.

His party is still trying to check a number of CCTVs elsewhere leading to the scene.

"CCTV at the UPST office is being investigated," he said.

For previous information, the police have examined 27 witnesses related to the case. Even in the investigation of this case involved K9.

"K9 is to assist in the investigation into the disclosure of murder cases," said Firdaus when confirmed, Sunday, July 21.

As a result, the officers found traces at the crime scene. However, when asked what the traces meant, Firdaus was reluctant to reveal them.

"Yes, there are findings. (But) it can't be shared yet," he said.
